Great White Shark

Great White Shark model from Shark! Hunting the Great White

Great White Sharks (Carcharodon carcharias) are a species of shark that can be hunted in Shark! Hunting The Great White.

From the Sharkopedia: 19th century whale hunters called them The Big White Death, because these sharks blatantly ripped off hundreds of pounds of meat at a time from caught whales that their ships had in tow.  White Sharks live and hunt alone or in pairs, usually near abundant food sources; islands inhabited by penguins, seals, etc.  Max recorded size of White Shark is around 24 feet. It is very dangerous for humans.

Possessing a Danger rating of 3/3, these sharks are some of the most dangerous to hunt, but also create some of the largest trophies. A single Great White Shark appears during the Career mission, Florida Platform. They can also appear randomly on Caribbean Reef and Crack Canyon.

  • The Great White is the only shark that is shown accurately rolling its eyes back while striking its prey.
