"The Jungles of Gravitsappa" is the third area in Carnivores. It is a fantastic area for beginning hunters. Lava-filled cracks show prior seismic activity on this island and provide a death trap to wandering animals whose bones can be found close to the cracks. The tropical jungles consisting of prehistoric ferns on the rest of the island are teeming with dinosaurs, hiding in the ground mists or around the rolling hills.

Geography[]

This island features a fairly consistent foggy jungle, with a desert to the east and lava flows to the south.

Northeast Quadrant[]

A brief respite from the fog, a desert lies in this section of the map, and is broken up with multiple "islands" of grass and ferns.

Southeast Quadrant[]

In the southeast corner of Gravitsappa, there is multiple lava flows, which can be deadly if stumbled into, but are an obstacle that can aid in slowing down predators.

Northwest Quadrant[]

This quadrant is relatively uninteresting, with no significant landmarks or outstanding geographic features.

Southwest Quadrant[]

The southwest portion of Gravitsappa contains 3 large pools of water, one of which contains 2 large rocks, which can be good platforms from which to fire at predators or other dangerous animals.

There is also a smaller island that seems to have come off the mainland, which contains nothing of interest.
